Scan Tester (1887-1972) was an Anglo concertina player from Sussex with a vast repertoire of social dance & popular tunes. The workshop is aimed at proficient musicians on any instrument, who can learn & play tunes by ear. Will Duke will simply play tunes at you & encourage you to join in, playing the same tune half a dozen times. Participants can record tunes on the day on their own equipment.

The workshop will cover sources of traditional Scots song & its background but the emphasis will be on singing. Participants should learn some new & enjoyable songs.
